DescriptionI am required to write 4 essays, 1 personal statement, and 3 essays according to the questions that I chose. I applied for the major in business administration in focus on economics and finance.
The questions are:
1. Please describe how you have prepared for your intended major, including your readiness to succeed in your upper-division courses once you enroll at the university. (Personal statement)
2. Beyond what has already been shared in your application, what do you believe makes you stand out as a strong candidate for admissions to the University of California?
3. Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and the steps you have taken to overcome this challenge. How has this challenge affected your academic achievement?
4. Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes or contributed to group efforts over time. *A leadership role can mean more than just a title. It can mean being a mentor to others, acting as the person in charge of a specific task, or taking the lead role in organizing an event or project. Think about what you accomplished and what you learned from the experience. What were your responsibilities? Did you lead a team? How did your experience change your perspective on leading others? Did you help to resolve an important dispute at your school, church, in your community or an organization? And your leadership role doesn’t necessarily have to be limited to school activities. For example, do you help out or take care of your family? (I was once a leader of a care group in church, you can talk about that, or anything that you have in mind it’s okay, but I don’t really participate in my college)
Each essay should be 250-350 long. So total of 4 essays.
Since these essays are for entering the University of California universities, please make them extraordinary. Please do some research on examples of University of California essays first before writing mine.
